Treatment

The Major, noticeable difference seen when treated with the Balance Method of Acupuncture is that your practitioner will often ask “Where is the pain now?” This is because the symptoms may move and change during the session. Your practitioner will continue to refine the treatment to adjust for those changes, with a focus managing the symptoms and the reduction of pain.

Once pain reuction is noted, you will likely settle into a comfortable position and relax for the remainder of the session, a few extra points may be added if necessary. You are likely feel your mind and body ease. Some claim to feel a sense of floating, others simply fall sleep. This is an individual process.

A deep feeling of relaxation is very much welcomed and if this is often the case, it is likely a result of the body’s natural endorphins (naturally occuring pain killers) and neurotransminers that are released in the central nervous system.

Of course every conditions frequency and duration of treatment differs. The more chronic the condition, the more convoluted and involved it may be to manage.

painful conditions can at times be relieved significantly within the first session, and that is a powerful indicator. Depending on the type of injury, the pain may be reduced temporarily or at times completely. There is of course varying responses to Acupuncture

It is important to repeat the treatment before the symptoms fully return, and it is therefore suggested to carry out a followup session to support the process. The frequency of treatment depend on the clinical outcome, and clinical approches change accordingly.

A minimum of three to five treatments may be required to allow time to observe the response and make adjustments to the clinical approach.

The Balance Method aims to manage painful conditions and may yield results quickly., However every presentation differs and no cures are claimed. Internal Medicine issue can also be approached and again, within a Chinese Medical perspective within its own paradigm. . A deeper level of treatment is brought into play by a technique that utilizes some deep Channel relationships and interconnections. They work to manage the affected body areas and tend to affected the organ system according to Chinese Medicine.

TUNG acupuncture techniques are often used to address different clinical presentation. I have great respect to the TUNG acupuncture method and advocate its use frequently.

You can be assured that at the Melbourne Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic, I always strive to provide you with the best treatment that I can possibly Master.
